In this lesson, you are going to learn how to 'skip count' in 5s. Adding or subtracting 5 at a time. Before attempting this, you should have completed the previous exercises skip counting in 2s, 3s and 4s.
Below are two exercises for you to complete. The first exercise starts from zero. Skip counting in 5, fill in each empty box.
Remember to keep practising so completing each box becomes requires little to no thinking at all. Reciting the numbers aloud is a good way to remember the number sequences.
The second exercise has a smiley happy dinosaur theme. Instead of skip counting using addition, this exercise requires you to subtract, starting from 44.
