Length recognition worksheets for children ages 3-5
Long, longer, longest are words used to measure length. In this page we want your child to learn how to compare the difference in length of various objects. Below is a fish, ranging in length from long to longest. Explain to your child the concept of long, longer and longest. Remember that many objects can be "longer", but only one object can be the "longest".

Below are four baseball bats, each with a different length. Ask your child to tick the box directly under the baseball bat that is the longest.
Print out the worksheet on the left hand side. The worksheet has three objects, a towel, a worm and a pencil. Ask your child to draw a longer version of each object. |
