Learn Number 17 and 18 with Interactive and Printable Worksheets
We have two more new numbers for you to learn. Assuming you have started from number 1, you are now well on your way in counting to 20.
Learning numbers is fun and exciting, especially if the process is interactive. As with the other numbers you have helped your child learn, please ensure your child is fully awake and there are no distractions, so they can grasp everything they are taught. If they start to lose concentration or look tired, then please stop, and pick up again later on.
Please remember to frequently praise your child as they progress, regardless of how well they do, and give them lots of encouragement. There is both an interactive and printable worksheet for you to work through.
The interactive worksheet for 17 and 18 comprise six pages. We've also included lots of sea creatures for you to teach your child and increase their vocabulary. You will see fish, seahorses, sea shells, octopuses, crabs, and even some prawns and a sea turtle. With each sheet, we aim to keep your child fully engaged, excited and eager to learn.
Below are two simple one page worksheets for you to print, so your child can continue to learn numbers 17 and 18, and reinforce what they have just been taught. They should have completed worksheets for numbers 1, 7 and 8.
Each worksheet allows your child to draw the number 17 and 18, color in some starfish and other fish and also to draw the shapes. Please use a sharp pencil.
As always, when writing a number, remind your child to start from the top. Start by writing the numbers that have dots, then ask them to complete the line by attempting to write the numbers unaided. Then to color in the shapes and to draw them in the box.
Coloring and drawing will both help with their concentration and pencil control.
